With God’s guidance, Bethesda United Methodist Church reaches out and welcomes all by offering the Gospel and God’s mercy throughout the community and beyond. The congregation is empowered through praise and worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, and stewardship to do outreach and ministries.
My name is Nancee Bleistine and I serve as the Pastor of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Our church is actively involved in learning and growing in our faith and deepening our relationship with our Lord.
As United Methodists, we are called to make disciples of Jesus Christ to transform the world. As disciples, we are passionate about sharing our faith with others. We faithfully serve in our church, community, and the world by being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus through our many ministries. May we bring honor and glory to God in all that we think, say and do! Please join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. as we invite you to be a part of our church community.
At Bethesda, we love to have children present in our worship service. We do offer both a nursery and Sunday school class for infants through children in the 5th grade during the service, and invite the children to participate in their appropriate class if they wish. Our Sunday school program utilizes “Deep Blue”, a United Methodist based curriculum that includes a Bible story (read by the children from provided children’s Bibles), 2-3minute video illustrating the concepts in the story, crafts, games and activities. Classes are taught by volunteers from our congregation and/or teachers from BCDC who have passed a nation-wide background check.
