If you would like to donate altar flowers in honor of or in memory of someone on a Sunday morning, or just to honor God, please let Mika know. Flowers are $50, and we just need to know the date that you would like to give them, if there is a specific flower you would like, and what you are giving them for – Mika will handle everything else for you. If you do not take the flowers after worship they will either be used again or taken to one of our shut-ins so they can enjoy them. mikab@bethesdaumcde.org
On Sunday, July 6th, we welcomed Pastor Dave McMillan as Bethesda’s new Pastor! On that day, our service time moved BACK to 9:30am, and will REMAIN at 9:30 am moving forward.
We’re in need of additional volunteers on our Sunday morning Tech Team. This fall, we will be hosting a training on the sound and power point system for anyone who is volunteering and anyone who is interested in volunteering. If you are able to assist, please let Mika know asap, so that she can share more information with you. Times and dates to follow!
Our next HOPP Friday Food Drive will be on August 22nd. The distribution begins at noon, but we gather beginning at 11:30 to organize and pray over the bags and for our neighbors. We would love for you to join us by:
-Volunteering! If you can smile, you’re our ideal volunteer. Kids/Grandkids are welcome to help.
-Picking up a bag (or two) for someone that you know who may need it but are unable to attend due to work or transportation issues.
Ladies Lunch Bunch! Join the ladies of BUMC on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm at 301 Travel Plaza restaurant. Come join in for some fellowship time together. The option to have separate checks will be available. For more information contact Sandy at: sruschetti@hotmail.com
Bethesda Choir Choir will meet at 9:30 am in the choir room for practice. Join us as we praise God through song! Choir is breaking for the summer, join us in September.
